Dr. James Renehan, M.D., was born in Atlanta and graduated from Rhodes College in 1997 where he played soccer. In 2001 he attended the Medical College of Georgia where he received his medical degree. He completed his general surgical internship and urologic residency training at the LSU/Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Dr. Renehan completed his urological residency in New Orleans, LA. His urological interests include treating urologic cancers, stone management, female urology and incontinence and laparosonic/robotic surgery. Dr Renehan is very calming and sensitive to men who have anxiety prior to procedures such as a cystoscopy. His nurse gave a brief explanation and He reassured me that the procedure would be very brief with minimal pain. They were both absolutely correct. Thank you.
