Dr. James E. McGrory, M.D. attended medical school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed his orthopaedic training at the Mayo Clinic. Prior to joining Hughston Clinic, Dr. McGrory practiced medicine with the United States Navy in addition to two years of private practice in Fort Worth, Texas.

The best at HC!
Dr. McCrary made me feel seen and heard. He completely explained what to expect from the appointment and why. I did not come out of the appointment feeling that it had been rushed. I felt like he genuinely cared about me and my back pain.
It appears that each person employed by the organization(the health facility) knows and implements the mission statement!!!
I saw the NPMirinda today. She was more than great. She explained the problems and gave options. She was so thorough and explained everything. She have me an injection in my knee that was almost painless.
It was a pleasure meeting Dr. McGrory. He was kind & compassionate. And explained my condition, & answered the questions I asked.

Dr McGrory is a wonderful Dr and his nurses and staff just the best! He & his staff greet you with a smile & are open to any questions you might have. I had to make a visit to acute ortho when it felt like someone was stabbing me in my hip! I was treated by Neal, the PA, who was excellent, got X-rays to see that the SI joint was acting up for some unknown reason! Dr McGrory had the x-ray up and went over it thoroughly, explaining everything to make sure that we understood what we were seeing and our next steps! EXCELLENT DR! IiiEXCELLENT STAFF! Thank you and may God bless you exponentially!!!
