Dr. Dowd is an exceptional doctor. I like his style!
Very kind doctor who takes his time and explains things very well. He asks questions and looks at the big picture. I didn’t need anything but his medical eyes and opinion, but when the time comes to need anything for my hips or knees, I will be back to see him. He replaced my mom’s hip and she did great. I also know people who he’s has helped out of hip and knee pain and he was what everyone said….EXCELLENT.
Dr. Dowd is a great communicator and a very knowledgeable and experienced physician. I felt very confident with his recommendations. He didn’t pressure me into having surgery. We talked about options and decided that we would try an injection, and he gave it to me at the same appointment. I was nervous because I have had horribly painful injections in the past. But, it was pain free! He has a very gentle hand and a comforting, down to earth and kind demeanor. He made me feel valued as a patient and a as a person and if I do end up needing surgery; I won’t go to anyone else!
Dr. Dow is probably one of the best health practitioners that I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. His professionalism and his knowledge is second to none. We are very fortunate in Hampton road area to have him with us.
