Great doctor but I really didn’t know what was wrong with me when I left we ran the tests and then a lady brought us a paper to leave and prescription and that was it

He Does NOT take the time to LISTEN UNDERSTAND, CARE OR EVEN AS MUCH TRY TO HELP the slightest. ABSOLUTELY NO BEDSIDE MANNERS. HAS THE NURSE TO RETURN TO THE ROOM WITH DIFFERENT INFO THAN WHAT HE PROMISED & STATED HIMSELF UPON his 3-4 Min. Visit & stated when EXITING the room. HAS 0 RESPECT 0 WILLINGNESS TO HELP REGARDING MENTAL HEALTH or EVEN REFER Patient TO SOMEONE WHO WILL HELP Mental Health is a VERY SERIOUS DEVASTATING ILLNESS & TOTALLY overlooked by DR's who DON'T take time to LISTEN & rather JUDGE the Reason-Causes Of such Life Altering Illness & Medications Patient has taken for YEARS! AT LEAST help short-term until Patient CAN BE SEEN QUICKLY BY A CARING WELL MANNERED Dr WHO WILL LISTEN & CARE. Not Everyone is out to get Meds to get high,Sell,ETC, MANY have a Family & In DIRE NEED OF HELP I pray no one else feels/Is Judged & Left Hopeless, Out the door with NO HELP Money they didn't really have-Left Feeling like a NOBODY. I've seen/heard IT MORE THAN ONCE at this Office SAD!
He could spend a little more time with his patients but I like him 😄

I've being seeing Dr. Austin for many years. I truly believe the Lord put me with him. He has saw me through some very dark, difficult, and some of the saddest times in my life. And he did it with love, understanding, and patience. Thank you Dr. Austin for ALL YOU and YOUR PRECIOUS STAFF and LOVELY WIFE have done for me

Dr. needs to spend quality time fully listening to the patient reasons for being there before jumping so quick conclusions of what he thinks/ "may could be" the medical issue. Serious medical problems can be over looked just rushing in patients rooms without really listening, though being there over 2 1/2 hours was excessive for less than 5 min of his time.
