Dr. Jaime Moreno, MD, an Army veteran and El Paso native, served as a Patriot Missile Crewmember in Germany and Saudi Arabia during Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned dual bachelor's degrees from UTEP, obtained his medical degree from UT Health San Antonio, and completed his Family Medicine residency at CHRISTUS Spohn. Since 2017, he has focused his practice on preventive medicine, diabetes, obesity, hyperlipidemia, and nutrition. Dr. Jaime Moreno, MD is a Texas native who grew up in El Paso. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served as a Patriot Missile Crewmember in Ansbach, Germany, and was later deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom following the events of September 11, 2001.
After completing his military service, Dr. Moreno returned to El Paso to pursue higher education. He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He then went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science at San Antonio and completed his Family Medicine residency at CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Since 2017, Dr. Moreno has been practicing medicine with a focus on diabetes, obesity, hyperlipidemia, and nutrition. He is committed to a team-based approach to care, emphasizing patient engagement and preventive medicine. Drawing from his military background, he brings a strong sense of duty, leadership, and compassion to his practice, empowering patients to take an active role in managing their health.
