After his first snow-filled winter in Ohio, Dr. Khaira left Cleveland for the warmer climate of Loma Linda, CA. Once he completed his internal medicine residency training in 2003 at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California, he relocated to the Bay Area and built his private practice in Alameda, California.
Dr. Khaira has been in private practice in Alameda since 2003. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and is part of the medical staff at Alta Bates in Berkeley and Summit Medical Center in Oakland. Dr. Khaira serves on several medical boards and advises on value based care where he advocates for patient care and fellow physicians.
