Dr. Jaffer Ahmed, M.D. is a board certified neurologist, with additional subspeciality training in movement disorders. Dr. Ahmed’s clinical focus includes Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, tics, myoclonus, and chorea. He also uses botulinum toxin to treat certain movement disorders including blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, cervical dystonia, and focal dystonia. Dr. Ahmed also sees patients for evaluation of Deep Brain Stimulation and Focused Ultrasound.
Dr. Ahmed is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also a member of the Movement Disorders Society and American Academy of Neurology. In his free time, Dr. Ahmed enjoys playing basketball, watching New York sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife.
