Jacob Urda, D.O.

Dr. Jacob Urda, D.O., knew he wanted to achieve two things from his future career – to help people and to continue learning. As a family medicine physician managing a broad spectrum of patients and conditions at the White-Wilson Family Medicine Clinic in Crestview, he feels he has reached his goals.

In addition to keeping up with the latest developments and methods of health care, Dr. Urda also enjoys using the information he has learned over the years to educate his patients. He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, before completing his residency in Family Medicine at Manatee Memorial Hospital, also in Bradenton. Following his formal education, Dr. Urda received board-certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and entered practice where he specializes in preventive care, wellness exams, and the treatment of hypertension, cholesterol and chronic illnesses.

Dr. Urda's approach centers around preventive care and adopting healthy lifestyle habits. He enjoys creating personal relationships with his patients and their families, building trust with patients so as to achieve the best treatment outcomes and minimize the risk of future illness.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Urda enjoys spending time with family, both at home and at the beach. His hobbies include playing golf, gardening, cooking and watching sports.
