That was my first time getting Cortizone shots in my knees, and I was very nervous about it. Both the doctor and his assistant made me feel very comfortable and it was rather painless. Everyone in the office was just wonderful.

I really appreciated Dr. Penningtons analysis of my knee situation. I hadn’t been told that my meniscus was gone until now and had also been told I was too young. I was recommended by a lady whose husband works at the practice. He recommended a brace in the mean time that was really nice as well because I have big dogs and I’ve had my knee snap back because it’s loose.

Did not feel a thing, and I really do not like needles, but with Dr. Peggington I never feel any pain, just happy to be there to get my knee fixed.

Straightforward with what I needed to do and what the treatment plan was the only thing I didn't like is medical staff wasn't ready didn't even realize I had an MRI or have it pulled up prior to the physician coming in

Terrible! The doctor was okay, but somebody there totally let me fall through the cracks! My physical therapist faxed information to the doctor, & it was never passed on to him!! The only complaint I have is that after I was called into the exam room I waited for 45 minutes for the doctor to come in. Then no “sorry for keeping you waiting “ or anything. This was for an 8:15 appointment so I was surprised that he was already running late.

Contradicted what his colleague told me two months ago.

We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes before being called back to the room to see the doctor. Then we waited another 20 to 25 minutes for the doctor to arrive. Twice I’ve been here and the wait times are way to long.

Dr Pennington saw me through a very difficult recovery of a knee replacement, followed by a fractured ankle. Despite difficulties rehabbing the knee due to the ankle injury my knee is at 135 degrees. Very appreciative of his and his staff’s care.

Did not see the Dr. Very disappointing to be processed thru with "assistants".! although very nice and competent. It's kind of like taking your car to a mechanic, you don't see the guy that does the work Just pay the bill. Wait for over an hour in freezing lobby, people sleeping (waiting). Made appointment in Ocr.2023 for today. I am from out of state and had to fly in. He looked a my xrays in seconds, never read my doctors file a said he wasnt comfortable doing my surgery. He did agree I needed the surgery but didnt want to deal with the hassle of out of state patient. I understand and respect his choice. I just wished he could has just denied me in the beginning. It was very clear Dr. Pennington had already made his mind up. I have spent days getting papperwork, from doctors, for my work , time off and getting a plain flight.

I went in for preventative care and was told to not come in until I was in pain. I was trying to stay ahead of any emergency issues but felt like I was rushed out and that I wasn’t important.

Dr. Pennington is a great, compassionate Dr. I went in-person to make an apptmt after on hold for 20 min and getting disconnected. Because of hip pain i was in and the circumstances the staff mbr went back to see if they could get me in or get dome x-rays. Dr. Pennington fit me in. After x-rays were taken and discussion of bone on bone hip with angle of hip, he recommended the anterior surgery which is different then he and Dr. Reiss do. He was honest and very compassionate. So I will be seeing a different surgeon but am so grateful for being able to get diagnosed correctly. My sis in law just had knee replacement surgery from Dr. Pennington and could not praise him enough.

It has been one year since my hip replacement surgery. Thanks to Dr. Pennington, I no longer am in pain. I can finally return to activities. My advice would be if you are suffering from arthritic pain, don't wait. Make that appointment with Dr. Pennington. My only regret is I waited so long.

Came to your office today in pain, was told you could schedule me for an injection in a couple weeks! 2 sets of X-rays because they took pictures of the wrong hip. Not my fault! So I left with the same pain I came in with!! I scheduled this appointment to get a shot and some relief.

Hip replacement no issues and great staff!!

Kind. Explained clearly what was causing my knee pain and what my treatment options were going forward.

I had knee replacement surgery in February 2023. Dr. Pennington was kind, competent and encouraging. The surgery went as described and the recovery was as expected. I would highly recommend him.

His beside manner could be improved, but his skills are not in question.

Dr Pennington is great, but his staff made some mistakes which made my visit not as timely. Check in person forgot to get my X-ray right away. X-ray tech apparently did not do the X-rays per Dr Pennington’s liking. Everyone was very friendly, though.

For a year Dr. Pennington has been treating my knees. At first he drew off the fluid and injected them with corticosteroids. And then he did a series of 4 Visco gel injections. Neither treatment gave me any relief from the pain and swelling. I was ready for knee replacement. Now he suggests that the problem is my back and that my knees are not that bad. I am so tired of being in pain. Why didn’t he check my back a year ago. I’m trying to be patient and hoping for relief soon.

My follow-up visit today. He gave me cortisone shot for knee that has been hurting for 3 years since I fell on it. He gave me shot 3 months ago. No pain today. He did not try to oversell me and said if there's no pain there is no need for a shot. I did possibly injure my rotator cuff since then. Sharp pain. He did give me a cortisone shot for that and set me up for rehab y of morrow. See how that goes. If it doesn't clear up he will be ave one of their shoulder experts look at it and get MRI. Bi was be very happy with his care.p

I had been sitting in exam room for at least 45 minutes AFTER X-rays were taken (after an hour wait in waiting room). Before coming in he had a conversation outside my door with his assistant - He was upset asking why he was behind schedule and his poor attitude was transferred to me when he finally came in. Unbelievably unprofessional rushed me through, abrupt and dismissive when I asked questions and tried to explain problems with knee and give background info. I sat in office waiting to be seen for 2 hours. I was pleasant to him. Totally unprofessional never been treated so poorly by a medical professional.

Took time to answer all my questions about an up coming surgery.

Dr. Pennington seems like a good physician however I didn't get much of a chance to find out. I will see how my knees feel after the cortisone injections he gave me. He lacks friendliness and ability to relate but perhaps he will acquire those skills in time? When I stated something to that affect he stated he is "not a Chatty Cathy ". Well neither am I but after 43 years in the medical field I expect a bit more kindness and attempt to make me feel like I matter just a little. The staff was not friendly either. More like just going through the motions and doing their "job". I realize it gets tedious but when I was still working (as a VP in a large hospital system in Michigan) I always took the time to be kind to those I served and did my best to let them know they mattered. I am always candid in my feedback and don't mean to offend; just hope to help improve processes.

Dr Pennington is a great Dr. He spent time listening to me and was very detailed as to what to expect after my knee surgery. He tried everything first, Steroid, Gel injections. recommend...

He seemed slightly annoyed ay first Sorry he is overworked

Dr. Pennington, was personable and precise in his explanation of my knee and hip pain. He told me, that I had osteoarthritis, and bursitis, which is a degeneration, and a severe inflammation. He injected the knee and hip, with a solution for numbing and treating the pain and infection. I'll be scheduled, to be examined by one of his associates, in a few weeks and have another injection at a different angle. The result of the 3 injections will tell them whether the hip needs replacing.

Good listener. This was my third visit. We made a plan and I think it should work out well.

He was Very professional, look at my x-rays saw that the VA did not need to have my hip replaced that I just had arthritis he did find that my back was causing the problems not my hip which the VA said what is causing my problems. He diagnosed the problem and will contact the VA and try to fix my problem which they have not done in the last six years.
