Dr. Lee is very kind. I was the for medicine to be injected in my lower back. He gives opportunities to ask any questions prior to the procedure. He kept me informed throughout the procedure.

My only problem was I arrived at my appointment time 10:30 and had to wait almost 3 hours for surgery. Surgery was scheduled for 11:30 and was taken in for surgery close to 2:00.

Dr. Jacob Lee, D.O. earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from UC Riverside and his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences. He completed an internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center, a residency at Emory University Hospital (serving as chief resident), and a specialized pain medicine fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Lee specializes in interventional pain management and regenerative medicine, with expertise in bone marrow-derived stem cells, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, epidurals, nerve root and trigger point injections, peripheral nerve stimulation, and radiofrequency ablations.
Now practicing at National Spine & Pain Centers’ Winchester, VA office, Dr. Lee brings extensive experience from the UCLA Spine Center, the California Pain Medicine Center, and the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center. He received world-class regenerative medicine training at the Emory Sports & Spine Center—an institution affiliated with the Atlanta Hawks—where he participated in a premier, multicenter research study using stem cells to heal injured ligaments, tendons, joint cartilages, and low back pain.
Dr. Lee believes that rapid advances in regenerative and neuro-modulation therapies give patients unprecedented options. He advocates for a multi-modal rehabilitation plan, viewing medication as just one piece of a broader strategy that must be paired with coping therapies to lower body stress and manage pain risks. A West Coast native.
