Dr. Jacob F. Kidder completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi and received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School. He completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Kidder then completed a fellowship in shoulder care in Lyon, France.
His practice focuses on adult reconstruction and sports medicine, and he has a special interest in acute and chronic shoulder disorders, including problems with instability, rotator cuff pathology, and arthritis. His surgical techniques include arthroscopic, minimally invasive, and open procedures.

I just love DR Kidder his bed side Manor is awesome. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good shoulder DR. he’s really good and explains what has to be done before the surgery also the after care .. I can tell you will not be disappointed

Dr. Kidder has the rare ability to be both an excellent surgeon and a wonderful, kind hearted human being. His staff and the ladies at the reception desk are always friendly. For orthopedic needs The Orthopedic Group is Mobile’s BEST choice in my opinion!!
