Dr.Liu is AMAZING!!!I have PTSD and major anxiety.At my appt I explained my anxiety was sooo bad I was shaking and had headache.His reply was very sympathetic and patient about what Henan to do help.He took his time to be sure I was calm enough to start the procedure and did not rush at all taking extra time to make me comfortable and explain what he was going to do.

I have to have confidence that my doctor has the expertise to make decisions about my health, AND I have to trust the doctor will apply that knowledge to my treatment and explain that information to me in language I can understand. The neurosurgeon wanted me to have surgery. I am 80 years old and wanted to try the epidural steroid injection. I am so happy I did. It is like a miracle. I can do anything without pain. Dr. Liu was amazing. He talked to me the whole time.

Dr Liu took time to answer questions and concerns in detail. He went over the test results film and used props to show spinal areas being affected.

I did not have the best visit this time around with Dr. Liu. He is usually really good, so maybe it was an off day. I felt like he didn't fully listen to my concerns regarding surgery and the pain I was having. He kept explaining surgery options, but didn't really listen to my concerns. It appeared that he was more concerned about getting notes into the system as I was crying about the horrible experiences I've had with my past two surgeries. And when I complained about the staff member it seemed like he wasn't concerned, even though he pretended to be. Maybe I am mistaken, but that is how it felt.
