The neurosurgeon wanted me to have surgery. I am 80 years old and wanted to try the epidural steroid injection. I am so happy I did. It is like a miracle. I can do anything without pain. Dr. Liu was amazing. He talked to me the whole time.

Dr Liu took time to answer questions and concerns in detail. He went over the test results film and used props to show spinal areas being affected.

I did not have the best visit this time around with Dr. Liu. He is usually really good, so maybe it was an off day. I felt like he didn't fully listen to my concerns regarding surgery and the pain I was having. He kept explaining surgery options, but didn't really listen to my concerns. It appeared that he was more concerned about getting notes into the system as I was crying about the horrible experiences I've had with my past two surgeries. And when I complained about the staff member it seemed like he wasn't concerned, even though he pretended to be. Maybe I am mistaken, but that is how it felt.
