I’ve had the dubious distinction of having my left shoulder operated on 15 times in the last 8 years. This occurred as the result of an initially poor surgical outcome by another doctor, who post surgery repeatedly misdiagnosed an internal infection. Thankfully, Dr. Bowling was referred to me by another surgeon because he was known as the Doctor who is willing and best able to fix the mistakes of others. He came to my rescue and has unceasingly worked to repair a nightmare situation. The degree of the initial infection was the catalyst for many more shoulder replacements. Dr. Bowling has always always stayed with me. No others have been willing to take on my challenging case. I think he is an outstanding surgeon and an equally exceptional human being. He and his able PA, Ryan Murphy, have demonstrated over and over how much they care about my recovery.
