J.W. is the GREATEST. He performed a hip resurfacing for me in 2010, which was hurt due to favoring of the right knee ruined on a trampoline in 1995. It was supposed to last about 10 years, and xrays showed it to still be perfect! Dr. Mesko recommended replacement of the right knee to correct ALL. The hip is great, and the new knee is fantastic. Experienced my first short period of "pain free" right knee subsequent to the surgery! Wow! New life. Can't wait for full recovery and pain free existence. Respect and admiration is all I have for this physician. He could be anywhere in the country, but chooses to stay here with his people. Thank God, and Dr. Mesko. Love the guy. Most efficient organization, and BEST surgeon in the midwest or beyond. Love the guy!

I received a much-needed knee replacement in March 2025. They got me in quickly for the first appointment. I was quite surprised considering his ratings no matter where you looked did were amazing! Before surgery was performed, he referred me to do pre surgery PT, which I highly suggest doing if offered since it truly helps with the surgery itself, and Post Op. He is very knowledgeable, and the surgery itself was a success. I started post op PT 3 days after surgery. 3 sessions per week for 2 weeks and 1 session per week for 2 weeks. That was it! My therapists assigned in home PT to do yourself (which is definitely a must to return to your normal range of motion). I just had my 6 week post op yesterday, all is healing as it should. Don't believe all Google says because, it will scare you to death!! Doctor Mesko is definitely NOT like most articles you read saying there will be months of PT. Anyone that I spoke to that had used him were as happy as I am! Highly recommend!!!
