Stand up surgeon. Listens to me. Explains things to me as many times as I need. Professional with a professional crew around him. I’m very tankful to have him as my ortho surgeon to repair a pretty bad dislocated ankle with a compound fracture. It’s no fun getting injured, but having a good doc to fix you back up like Dr. Brecht will make all of the difference.

I’m so tankful for the opportunity to have been operated on by Dr. Brecht. His work is stellar. You too would be blessed to have his professionalism involved with getting you put back together. I would recommend his services to anyone, who is seriously injured, that could be penciled into his schedule. I don’t plan on dislocating and fracturing anything other than my ankle and fibula, but should some serious trauma based event occur to me in the future, I would feel optimistic in all ways knowing that Dr. Brecht was at the helm. Dr. Brecht and his team are the best of what western medicine has to offer.

In April, 2022, I had a very serious dirt bike accident. Dr. Brecht repaired my collarbone, hip, femur, and kneecap which all required extensive surgeries. Today, three months later, I am walking, temporarily using a cane, and there have been no complications. I am forever grateful to Dr. Brecht, and his staff!, for doing a tremendous job!

He was simply wonderful--he spent so much time reviewing my previous xrays with me, and comparing them to yesterday's. I was so impressed by how closely he listened to my concerns and ideas.

Thank you for your two day’s of surgery after my dirt bike crash. Never being admitted to a hospital by ambulance and having several injuries including shattered patella,broken femur, with a broken pelvis as well as broken clavicle all needing hardware. Dr Brecht is tops!! I’ve been in recovery for 5 weeks and am thankful for Dr Brecht as my surgeon.

Once seen - visit is positive. Usually have to plan for an hour for the appointment. Initial assessment and X-rays are quick. This last visit waiting 30 minutes for Dr to come in.

Dr. Brecht has been taking care of my fractured hip since September of 2020. Unfortunately where it was fractured I wasn’t able to have a total hip done. Now the bone is healed and a total hip is now scheduled. Many thanks to his nurse Jo Ann she has always been pleasant and compassionate. I pray that the total hip procedure goes well and I can move forward with doing the things I haven’t been able to.
