Dr. J. Byron Davidson, DO, is a board certified and fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon who has specialized in evaluating and treating conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine in our community since 2002. Although he believes surgery is the absolute last resort, his expertise is applying the least invasive surgical techniques to return his patients with degenerative conditions, fractures, deformity or tumors of the spine to their best quality of life possible. Dr. Davidson completed his medical school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, then went on to complete an internship and Orthopedic residency in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio University. He later completed a reconstructive spine fellowship at The Florida Spine Institute.

Dr Davidson is honest and easy to talk to. He explains things so anyone can understand.
Dr. Davidson is fantastic. He has the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered with a physician. He takes his time. He cares about the patient. He is also a skilled surgeon and my back surgery was a total success.
I’d give 5 more if I could. Great doctor.
This was my first visit with Dr Davidson and I was very pleased. He explained my MRI and showed it to me so I could see what was going on. I liked the plan of treatment he suggested and next steps if the first plan doesn’t work. I liked his approach and bed aid manner. I would highly recommend him if you are having any spinal issues.
