Dr. Israel Mantecon, M.D., completed his medical degree at Universidad Central Del Este and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital and a cardiology fellowship at Seton Hall University. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He has been instrumental in developing various programs at Dr. P. Philips Hospital including STEMI, Chest Pain Center and CHF programs. His research experience includes serving as principal investigator or sub-investigator on over a dozen major cardiology clinical trials.
