Isabel Maria Rojas, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Isabel Maria Rojas, D.P.M., is a passionate foot and ankle podiatrist and surgeon who is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients. She is proud to serve our patients in the Chicago area and its suburbs including River Forest and Lombard. Dr. Rojas is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who joins Romano Orthopaedic Center, to round out and enhance our foot and ankle care team alongside Dr. Maria McGann.

With extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical treatments, Dr. Rojas specializes in non-operative management of foot and ankle conditions to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. She routinely treats and has an interest in:

She is dual board-certified in Foot and Rearfoot Reconstructive Ankle Surgery and Podiatric Medicine, having completed her surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. Before joining THE ROC, she served as an Assistant Professor at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, worked in private practice, and in both orthopedic and podiatric settings, making her well-versed in comprehensive foot and ankle care.

Dr. Rojas firmly believes that all patients deserve prompt, high-quality medical care. She collaborates with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, ensuring care is delivered in a respectful and compassionate environment. Her expertise in diabetic wound care, orthotic management will be a tremendous asset to Dr. McGann in providing advanced foot and ankle treatments at The ROC. Their combined knowledge and skill set will ensure that patients receive the highest level of care, whether through conservative management or state-of-the-art surgical interventions.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Rojas is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care to a diverse population. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and traveling to her home country of Spain as well as other locations in and outside of the US.
