This visit was extremely rushed, I went in for what I thought was a hemorrhoid and the doctor said it most likely is BUT he never even bothered to check, he just automatically scheduled me for a colonoscopy. Ive NEVER heard of a doctor not actually checking the area and just automatically scheduling a colonoscopy, especially when I explained that I JUST had gallbladder removal surgery a few weeks ago and I’m postpartum so there are a few factors that could cause a hemorrhoid but automatically scheduling me for a procedure without even doing any sort of examination is just unprofessional and leads to fear mongering tactics. I’ll be getting a second opinion elsewhere since I can’t trust the first one I got.
