My visit yesterday (10/5/2023) was really a disappointment. After waiting in the exam room about 20 minutes the doctor came in asked a couple of questions, felt the area of my back that was bothering me and she was out of the door in less than 2 minutes.

Waited nearly 1 hour before Dr. Mavrakakis saw me for 5 minutes. I have endured months of PT and Chiropractor treatments. None have relieved the lower lumbar pain which has been servere at times. She prescribed Gabapentin, which was useless. I underwent injections., Again this procedure didn't reduce my pain. She didn't prescribe another pain medicine, I told her I'm taking too much Ibuprofen. She suggested I have more injections. This treatment has been totally ineffectual.

Thanks for her help. I became ill while at an appointment with her and she was quickly decisive that I needed the paramedics and they got me to the hospital quickly. Thank you Dr. Mav!😴❤🙏

I really liked Dr. Mavs joyful approach. But she did seem a bit rushed....after 30 years of chronic back trouble I have a lot of information that I think could have been helpful for her to hear to get a better picture the issue. But she ordered an MRI , more PT, and a follow up visit and that seemed like a logical treatment plan.

My first visit with Dr. Mavrakakis and I was impressed on how throughly she did her exam, came into my room with already reading up on my medical history. not many doctors take the time to do this before meeting a patient. she ordered tests and I really felt like she listened to me and more importantly she was very educated in her field.

I trust her medical expertise. I often feel she rushes me. Instead of asking a question, she might say “You’re doing better, right?” I sometimes leave feeling like I left out important information about my condition.

My feedback is simply for quality and assurance purposes . I would advise that this doctor spend more time engaging with clients, especially for data collection. My experience with her always seems “in and out” , a record breaking two minutes.

I move been seeing Dr Mavrakakis for a little over 3 years and have to say she’s awesome.

I felt like I was rushed in and out and not heard as a patient. The nurse staff was less than pleasant.

Total visit was 3 hours. there for an hour before being seen. Didnt really let me explain my pain and symptoms. Said she would prescribe medication .never received the script, debating me over insurance practices . There were moments where she talked over me as I tried again to explain my pain and symptoms to sum it all up. She left the room without thanking me for coming in nor saying goodbye. I actually thought she was coming back. It was my 1st visit. New client

Great Doc

This Doctor was very knowledgeable, my husbands condition is complicated, He has a lot of pain in his back, he has also recently suffered a stroke, this doctor has given him an opportunity to see a Physical Therapist the can work on all of these issues, None of his others doctors gave us an option to to this. We believe she is truly a blessing. The one thing that was amazing is the she read the other doctors notes and the mri and test results before she came in the room. Excellent !

I really liked how thorough Dr. Mav was in her initial evaluation. She even stated the order that we had to do things according to insurance qualifications. By the time I walked out of the office I knew exactly what needed to be done for the next 2-3 mths.

I think Dr. Mavrakakis is an awesome doctor. I waited way over 40 minutes in the examine room and when she came in, I only saw her for about 2 minutes. I don't think I should have waited that long and only saw her for 2 minutes.

Professional medical staff/ team that supports Doctor Irene Mavrakakis. She is very knowledgeable, with a warm personality. She takes the time to educate you about your medicine condition, and orders any further tests and physical therapy.

I thought Dr was very thorough. I think she does along with nurse speak to fast for pt to comprehend all that they are being told especially when pt is under distress.

Met Dr Mavrakakis for the first time and thought she was excellent . But one suggestion is please put a bench near the check-out counter for people who have pain while standing when they have to wait.

As I have said to Dr. Mavrakakis, I was pleased that she does not suggest pain pills as a way for the patient to handle their issue. We have used therapy after my first visit last year then a spinal injection. This time we are using therapy again.

The most thorough and concerned doctor I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She wants to know what the problem is so she can effectively develop treatment accordingly. I've been in pain for a lot of years and she isn't giving up on finding out why.

Always pleasant and addresses any issues you may have. Definitely better than taking drugs. Her last epidural lasted me quite awhile with pain relief for my back. Highly recommend her.
