You can’t tell a patient he is cancer free and then call him 10 hours later tell him he’s not. I celebrated being cancer free and felt a kick in the balls being not. That’s not professional.

He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and medical degree from Chandka Medical College, University of Sindh in Larkana, Pakistan. For his academic excellence, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Graduate and the Gold Medal for 1st Position from the University of Sindh. Dr. Lal completed his Internal Medicine residency at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center in Karachi, Pakistan, and a second residency at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. During his time at St. Barnabas Hospital, he was named "Resident of the Year" for both Excellence in Medical Knowledge and Professionalism.
