Dr. Imran Peer, DPM, received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas. He pursued his medical education in California at the Western University of Health Sciences, where he graduated with honors as part of the Pi Delta National Honors Society. While completing his doctorate, he was awarded the Dean’s list award and served his campus community as a Student Ambassador, Alumni representative and Treasurer for the American Association of Podiatric Sports Medicine Student Chapter.
Dr. Peer then returned to Texas to complete his residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at HCA Houston Healthcare, West. While there, he specialized in foot, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Today, Dr. Peer has come back to North Texas to serve the brand new StrideCare Foot & Ankle clinic in South Dallas. He is comprehensively trained in all aspects of podiatry, including sports medicine, diabetic foot care, wound care and surgery, and is excited to provide podiatric care to patients. Dr. Peer is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
In his personal time, Dr. Peer enjoys bass fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
