He received his postgraduate training at Staten Island University Hospital 1990-1993, fellowship in cardiovascular medicine as well as fellowship in cardiovascular electrophysiology from the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Medical Center 1993-1997. He specializes in Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, supra ventricular tachycardia, AV node reentry tachycardia, AV node ablation, biventricular pacemaker, and defibrillators. Dr. Girgis is also an avid soccer player and enjoys time with his wife and young twins.

Dr Girgis is caring, very thorough in his approach and looks at all of the factors before approaching a plan. He also is a Yankee fan which is an added admiration.
Dr. Girgis is consistently thorough and outstanding.
The procedure went well with little discomfort. Doctor Gigis was great, but I did have some reaction to the lidocaine injection some tremors which lasted about an hour.
