I did not appreciate having to wait 40 minutes to see his physicians assistant When I was expecting to see Dr. Stein. His assistant Josh was very helpful and Informative.

On my very first appointment, Dr. Stine outlined a treatment plan for me which other orthopedists have not been willing to do. He is also forth coming with information which is refreashing. My first surgery for knee replacement went along like clock work especially comparing my surgery with other friends surgeries and I completely attribute that to Dr. Stine's fine surgical work and also the hospital getting a head of pain management, My second surgery is a shoulder repair which he explained would take time which it definately is and also is more painful.

Firstly, I feel like Dr. Stine was very kind. He definitely has bedside manner. He was very thorough in our discussion about my injury. He provided a very reasonable treatment plan and answered all of my questions.

I am pleased with the superior care that I received for the outpatient anterior / Left Hip Replacement, surgery provided by Dr. Ian STINE. I have been a satisfied patient of his since 2010.

I was referred to Dr Stein for lower back problems. I saw Dr. Stein in person on the first visit at which he focused on problems in my hips. The second time I saw him in person was when he administered a treatment to alleviate the pain in my left hip. I subsequently had three more visits where I was seen by a PA. This visits with the PA included determining that surgery was necessary and my last pre op visit. I saw Dr Stein in person on the day of surgery both prior to and in recovery. Post op written instructions were minimal with with what complications to look for. A post op appointment was made for a week post op at which I was again seen by the PA. Since I have had 2 post op appointments canceled due to Dr Stein's surgery schedule. The last canceled was done with an hours notice and when i attempted to schedule another none were available in a reasonable time period.. I have made attempts to navigate his phone answering system with no success. At this point I feel that his priort

When my last Orthopedic Doctor said , he couldn’t help me and I was a lost cause, Dr Stine did not give up on me, he gave me a plan of action with a goal which I have achieved and I’m now going to be getting my full knee replacement in less than two weeks! I am so grateful to Dr. Stine for giving me back my mobility, without pain, in such a short time. His expertise and decision for my outpatient anterior hip replacement surgery allowed for a relaxing home recovery. Within 6 weeks of surgery I have been walking 1 mile a day, cycling 1/2 hr a day (stationary bike), walking up stairs and performing all of my physical therapy exercises. I didn't feel he put my health/treatment 1st and foremost. I felt as though he's more interested in appeasing the insurance company rather then the patients. Not once did he look @ my Mri or even discuss it which is the whole reason I was referred to him/hip surgeon. Instead he gave me an x-ray which shows the skeletal system not soft tissue I didn't break or fracture any bones I tore my labrum yet that was never brought up or discussed. I'm very disappointed and unhappy to say the least I am gonna ask to see another surgeon who actually honors his hipprocratic oath

Not good that the tech does not explain the cost of the brace you prescribed for my knee. Now I am worried that my insurance may not cover it especially after they declined the $900.00 stocking for my wife’s surgery. It may have been on the form I signed but the tech never said a word about the cost. I should have been less trusting. I do like him as a Doctor . I don’t know how expensive this brace may be.
