Dr. Hugo Lijtmaer joined Dr. Perron and they founded Neurology Group of Bergen County in 1975. He received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1968. He completed his neurology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, in 1974. Dr. Lijtmaer's special interests within the practice are Adult Neurology and Evoked Potentials. He serves as the Managing Partner. He was a past President of the Neurological Association of New Jersey 1986-96 and Director of the Neurosciences Department at The Valley Hospital 1985-93. He speaks fluent Spanish and Italian.
