Dr. Hugh Bailey graduated from Meharry Medical College and has been practicing medicine since 1981. His residency was performed at Orlando Regional Medical Center, and he obtained his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at The Univ. of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, and The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He also served as the Director of the Maternal FetalMedicine Division at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC, before relocating his family to Huntsville, AL. Dr. Bailey has served the Huntsville area, and surrounding communities since 1992, and this gifted physician is well known as the first physician formally trained in high risk obstetrics, to establish a practice in North Alabama. His pioneering efforts made the transport of women with complicated pregnancies, from the outlying areas in North Alabama to Huntsville Hospital, a reality.
Dr. Bailey's many certifications include: Pelvic Reconstruction, Urogynecology, Endovenous Laser Therapy, Advanced Cosmetic Gynecology, and Liposuction. My kids are some of the over 10 000 births that the good doctor has helped bring into this world. His care and concern for my overall health is genuinely felt, and he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is a skilled surgeon and very humble.
These days doctors come in the room with one hand on the door, in a hurry to get to the next patient. I like how attentive Dr. Bailey was and how he listened to all of my many concerns.1

Great experience!!! I've been coming to his office for 31 years. And I'd never consider changing. You do have to wait. But I think most don't care.
Dr.Bailey is a great gyn ,his staffs is great as well,I will continue to go to him for all of my care .
