Always friendly never rushing you, showing that he cares, always good advice as to what the right treatment for my knee pain should be. Never in a hurry to recommend surgery. Great doctor with a wonderful personality. I would recommend without reservation

dr. Chen did a full ankle replacement and calcaneal slide osteotomy on my right foot and I was in pain pretty much 24 seven prior to the procedure. I’m only six weeks postop, but already the pain is almost gone completely. What little pain there is is just from the surgery itself not from having the ankle and foot deformity and the PTTD. He has corrected that! He also took care of my knee when I broke it three years ago and I have absolutely no trouble with that knee at all. It required a lot of metal to correct that you really can’t even tell and I have no problems with that knee at all.
Dr. Sharif took care of my back six years ago and it’s still great. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and Dr. Sharif and Nevada orthopedic. I also very much like Stephanie and Jason the PAs.

Dr. Holman Chan joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2013. He specializes in orthopedic trauma, general orthopedic surgery and the treatment of lower extremity disorders including acquired deformities of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Chan received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton,Canada, where he received a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2006. He completed his surgical internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Alberta in 2011 while serving as chief resident of orthopedic surgery.
Also in 2011, Dr. Chan completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
He then completed a second fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY.
