My new best friend, Dr. Yi and his group of people that work for him are really friendly and really do a great job. I had my two week checkup in very little pain just up to me now to work out and stretch it. That’s the big name of the game. Thank you, Dr. Yi

My appointment with Dr. Yi was on schedule. I arrived 5 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. I was ONLY in the waiting room 5 to 7 minutes before I was taken back. My appointment was scheduled for 11:45, I had x-rays done, consultation with Dr. Yi, had an cortisone injection and was checking out by 12:15. My kind of appointment. Thank you Dr. Yi and staff.

I felt rushed. Dr. Yi talked a lot. that's fine, he's the expert. I was polite and didn't interrupt. I had questions. Dr. Yi was done seeing me before he gave me the opportunity to ask questions.

Hogan G. Yi , M.D. is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with decades of experience in sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Yi completed his medical education at Washington University School of Medicine and pursued his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. To further specialize in sports medicine, he completed a fellowship at Tahoe Fracture and Orthopedic Medical Clinic in South Lake Tahoe, California.
Before joining All Florida Orthopaedic Associates/Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Yi served the St. Petersburg community through his own private practice, Hogan G. Yi, M.D., P.A., from 1993 to 2025. His dedication to patient care and surgical excellence earned him a trusted reputation among patients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Yi is an active member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His research contributions include a publication on Ewing’s Sarcoma in Orthopedic Review (Rotentgen Rounds), 1988.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Yi is an avid hockey fan and continues to play in an adult hockey league in the community.
