Surgery is performed at the University of Tennessee Medical Center-Knoxville and at the Tennessee Valley Eye Center. Great care is taken to ensure patient comfort and safety with the vast majority of cases performed under sedation or general anesthesia administered by the team of a nurse anesthetist and an MD anesthesiologist.
Dr. Glatt examines patients at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and the Tennessee Valley Eye Center.
Dr. Glatt graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. When University Eye Specialists sought a surgeon with specialized training in Oculoplastic Surgery to care for the patients of East Tennessee, Dr. Glatt and his wife welcomed the opportunity to live, work, and raise their family in Knoxville.
While watching his sons grow up in Knoxville’s wonderful swim culture (and later become collegiate swimmers), Dr. Glatt took up the sport himself, although at a considerably slower pace, and enjoys swimming at the University of Tennessee Aquatic Center. He and his wife Lynn enjoy hiking in East Tennessee and America’s National Parks.

Either this office or entered the date and time this follow up examination Roehl Richmond hours 30 minutes late. I don’t see how they couldn’t get rescheduled this. Simpli follow up to an eyelid surgery. The last time I had this exact same procedure done it took less than five minutes. I am pleased with Dr. Glatt However, robotic of the lady at the front desk. Was rather rude. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve waited between 45 minutes in an hour and other physicians practices. Why this couldn’t have been worked. It’s just unacceptable so I’ve scheduled it for later on this month.
Excellent Doctor who is THE EXPERT in his field.
He was very concerned about my health instead of rushing for surgery.

As I said before, he is right on time and gets right to the reason you are there. I really appreciate that since some doctors make you wait. He knows what he is doing and is very pleasant.
