Helen Mashek, M.D.

Dr. Helen Mashek joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 1996. She is interested in all aspects of skin care, including medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures. She is dedicated to her practice and enjoys working with adult and pediatric patients. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Mashek graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School. She completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Dermatology at SUNY – Buffalo. She enjoys teaching and scholarly pursuits. She gives educational lectures to residents of the Christiana Health Care System as well as to community groups. Her research and clinical work are published in leading dermatology journals.

Dr. Mashek is active in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, Philadelphia Dermatologic Society, Delaware Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. On a personal note, Dr. Mashek enjoys family life with her husband and two daughters and is active is racquet sports.
