Dr. Heidi Bloom is a board-certified, fellow-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist surgery. She completed her residency and internship at the Stanford School of Medicine. Her fellowship training was completed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
"As a hand and upper extremity specialist, I am privileged to help individuals of all ages. Some operations such as carpal tunnel releases and fixing distal radius fractures are so immediately beneficial that I never fail to be amazed at how successful these procedures are for individuals. I am very proud of my staff in their ability to treat our patients with kindness and respect."
When not at work, Dr. Bloom enjoys riding her horse, walking her mini-Aussies, gardening, and bird watching.

She is an amazing talent with a kind personality. I always feel heard and I trust her with any care that she performs.
Dr. Bloom was more interested in my mental well being than my physical hand situation simple for expressing my frustration with the lack of transparency and care I had received to date in Klamath Falls. I came to SOO in the hope of finding a Doctor who would help determine future treatments and to consult with me in formulating a care plan moving forward. She was more interested in talking about amputation and PTSD and lecturing me that I must see a psychiatrist before she would treat me further.
Dr Bloom is truly great.
Dr. Bloom handled my fracture with precision and excellent care. I feel very fortunate that she was the one to operate on me!
