My husband was in for an echocardiogram appointment. A person came out and asked for a patient named James. No last name mentioned. He went back with her. She weighed him and brought him back to a room. There she asked his name and date of birth. She took his vitals. Then left him there for about 25 minutes. I was in the waiting room when the echo technician came and asked for a patient that sounded by like my husband’s name. Another gentleman got up and went back with him with the first name of James. He instantly discovered it was not the correct patient. He had to look for where husband was. I went to the desk concerned with where my husband was and what was happening. This could have been a dangerous mistake.
