Dr. Gotha was completely dismissive of my issues (fracture) she actually stated “toe fractures don’t hurt” I expressed concerns with limping because of the pain after recent hip surgery and if this could impact the recovery from that. “why would u limp? A toe fracture doesn’t hurt” maybe it’s “bothersome” in the beginning. I can’t take ibuprofen bc of hip surgery, she stated that why would I need to take anything for pain? She left the office visit “to go check on something” and never came back. I told the Medical assistant that I still had questions , she came back and said “the doctor wants to know what questions” I told her it was regarding the boot, work, and how this would affect my gait, as I also have hip dysliasia in my other hip that I’m trying to strengthen to avoid any issues. The medical assistant came back and said, “no issues w your hip, this is a broken toe”
