I have seen many OBGYN doctors during my lifetime. When we moved to Las Vegas 30 years ago, I found a great OBGYN. These doctors are not ones that woman generally look forward to seeing. But she was. About 8 years later she went to work for a different medical group and they did not take our insurance. So i had to find another Dr which was not easy. I saw a few and kept looking for others. About 7 years ago I found a doctor that i truly loved. Unfortunately after seeing her for 2 years, she retired. I had not found another that matched her until now. I have only seen Dr Bacala once so far, but she is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her. I have had to find several different doctors over the last 3 years due to different medical issues. I think for a woman, finding a gynecologist is very difficult. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Have had her as my doctor for years. Best OBGYN hands down. she has been there through the riskiest pregnancy and everything in between. My high risk pregnancy and almost lost my baby, and he is here today because of her! She is an incredible ob also!!!

Did not actually see Dr. Bacala at my appointment today despite scheduling an appointment with her specifically because I had follow up questions regarding my car accident injury/hemorrhage that I had seen her for previously. The Nurse Practitioner I saw instead was kind, but I am frustrated that I was not offered the opportunity to wait, reschedule, OR see the NP.

Dr. Heather Bacala, M.D., is originally from northern Minnesota. She met her husband in medical school, who is from Las Vegas. They completed residency at Beaumont Health in Dearborn, Michigan, before moving back to Las Vegas.
Dr. Bacala was part of a larger group practice when she first moved to Las Vegas, before opening her own practice, MyOBGYN. Dr. Bacala enjoys being part of a women’s life from all stages; beginning as a teen, to annual exams, pregnancy, surgical needs and menopause. Dr. Bacala loves delivering babies and promoting vaginal deliveries, including VBACs when appropriate.
Dr. Bacala also has a passion for robotic surgery and utilizes the Da Vinci for hysterectomies and other complex surgeries. Dr. Bacala has three children and two crazy golden retrievers.
