Dr. Montijo is the best Orthopedic surgeon and has been my doctor since 1991. He has performed surgeries on me, where I’ve never had any problems with afterwards. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Montijo!

My experience was horrible! Can’t blame this Dr. because he isn’t aware I’m sure of what took place when I got the injections yesterday afternoon.! His PA is responsible for my horrific experience!! I was completely paralyzed from my head to my toes for a matter of two hours, plus! My heart rate was off the charts! Heating went, n numbness in tongue, jaw neck & head area within 10 minutes!
Then it spread to my arms, chest and lower extremities I could not hold my head up. I could only use my eyes no other feeling in my body. I was completely paralyzed.!

Very good surgeon and great person.
Has great bedside manner and he is very thorough with your care.
Dr. Montijo explains the reason for everything that is happening and that will happen with recovery. Great Dr. all around!

He listen to my frustrated story of multiple failed surgery with other orthopedics, after requesting more documentation at the next visit he will discuss with me how to proceed in order to end my nightmare. Let's hope for the best !!!

Dr. Montijo earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico. A veteran major of the US Army, he completed his surgery internship and orthopedic surgery service at Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Ft. Gordon, Georgia.
As a student, Dr. Montijo was a member of the dean’s list, as well as a four-year judo state champion in Puerto Rico, and a gold and bronze medal winner at the Judo Central American Games.
Dr. Montijo is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association, Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, Palm Beach County Medical Society, Honorary Member of Panama Orthopaedic Society, Latin American Medical Association, Florida Orthopedic Society, and American Medical Association.
