My knee replacement 100 % excelent.

Doctor Montijo made me wait 45 minutes before I was seen. When I finally was seen and I expressed my frustration, he had the decency to apologize, but did not seem to want to provide real solutions or help afterwards. He only wanted to throw anti-inflammatories at my problem prior to this appointment, and I had to research on my own to find out that physical therapy is an alternative to surgery for my condition, and asked for a referral then. After and prior there was no evaluation of the progress of my condition other than verbal confirmation from myself that I had been improving, but had to stop the medicine because it impaired cognitive function. Altogether, he was in the room with me for less than 5 minutes after making me wait 45 minutes. The level of disrespect for my time, and lack of effort or knowledge of my condition on his part are inexcusable. I will not be back.

Horrible administrative support for doctor Doctor does an adequate job on the physical implant of replacement on knees Follow up care sucks Have had a low-grade fever in the replacement knee for 3 weeks now had to go to another doctor to get antibiotics and the doctor that I went to didn't even take 2 minutes and wrote me a script for 2 weeks supply of antibiotics because he said that there was an infection in there and he felt that it was a chance that it could cost me to have to have surgery over and possible further damage to my leg Will be seeing my primary care physician for another follow-up consultation on this and most likely will end up with med malpractice as I spoken to a paralegal for a med malpractice lawyer and said that Dr montejo is responsible for my post-op care especially when there's complications like this Recommendation Don't use this doctor

I had an appointment for a three month post app check up and I get to my appointment and they proceeded to tell me I can’t be seen because I didn’t get a referral! This appointment was scheduled for three months. Why didn’t anyone call me to tell me I needed to call to get a referral? And I called my primary and they said they faxed it three days ago, so I am not happy with your practice. I missed work and wasted gas and time because someone did not do their job.

While Albert the PA was very nice, unfortunately the rest the experience with the office has been horrible. I was scheduled for an MRI that was cancelled and I was told I would be called back once authorization was received. It has now been over a week and no contact made even thought I and my insurance representative made several attempts to contact this office. Several messages were left and no call back. I am now another week in pain and starting over with another doctors office. If I were Albert I would find another physicians office to work with, one the communicates and answers their patients that need help.

A visit to see Dr. Montijo is truly a pleasure!!! Great staff, excellent efficiency getting in and out and Dr. Montijo is a kind, caring, thorough person. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Dr Montijo is a rockstar. 5 years ago he repaired a tibia/fibula fracture, shattered ankle on my husband. Four physicians refused to attempt the repair of this horrific fracture before Dr Montijo was called in. We are snowbirds so we didn’t know any Orthopods in the area. Well, we hit the lottery with Dr Montijo. My husbands leg is straight, strong and well healed. This year Dr Montijo did an arthroscopic surgery on my right knee for a torn meniscus. Unfortunately the arthritis in that knee was so severe I ended up with a total knee replacement. Within 4 weeks I was walking independently with tolerable discomfort. My knee is strong works well and I was discharged from therapy in 2 weeks exceeding all goals. I hope you never need orthopedic surgery but if you do, call Dr Montijo Jr. you will be glad you did

Dr Montijo as a surgeon is great. However it is absolutely impossible to ever speak with a person in the office and no one ever calls you back or responds to needs or concerns. I think the office needs to be more responsive with patients who are post-surgical.

Dr. Montijo is compassionate. His detailed explanations are helpful. I am pleased with the result of my surgery.

I was not happy with the Result of my visit...seems like every Time I have a visit...I get a different result. Of why I have more pain now... My Back and right knee. Did not hurt before knee surgery.. Now my Back is being blamed for my leg pain.... And I am told I need an Epidermal.... Before I was told I needed an Ablation Which I got...cause Dr.recommed it.... Big mistake....I am in more pain then ever.......I still have a mark on under my.knee. where I believe a tourniquet Was applied? And that did the damage to my vein.... I would like to get the record of who was in the Operating room when I had My knee replacement. Malika Dakkon

Really open and respectful of what your are explaining about your injuring from your perspective. Really like that he listens.
