Harvey E. Montijo, M.D. is a board-certified, foot and ankle fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as general fracture care. Dr. Montijo began his medical training at Duke University Medical School in Durham, North Carolina. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Carolinas Medical Center, in Charlotte, North Carolina, one of the top residencies in the country. Following residency, Dr. Montijo completed a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction in Vancouver, British Columbia. During his residency and fellowship, Dr. Montijo worked with international leaders in foot and ankle surgery, specifically focusing on ankle joint replacement and advanced arthroscopic techniques.
