Dr. Harshal Shah is originally from Philadelphia and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Temple University. Dr. Shah received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL. She subsequently went on to complete her training in Internal Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. She recently completed her Nephrology Fellowship training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC. Dr. Shah is an expert in all areas of inpatient and outpatient nephrology. During her time at Georgetown, her research focused primarily on Hypertension; she also focused her research on Kidney Transplantation and has a special interest in that area. Her other areas of interest include Critical Care nephrology, kidney stones, and glomerular diseases. Dr. Shah is looking forward to continuing to live in Arlington, VA.
