Dr. Harrison Tuttle, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who is also fellowship trained in hand and microvascular surgery. Prior to joining the Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 2005, he graduated from both college and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont. He was then selected for a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio.
As a hand surgeon, Dr. Tuttle’s specialty includes all maladies of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. His scope of practice includes the non-operative treatment and operative treatment of trauma, arthritic changes, congenital conditions, tendinopathy, peripheral nerve compression, as well as some skin and vascular conditions.
Dr. Tuttle has written articles on hand surgery topics published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery as well as Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. He has served as the hand surgery consultant to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes since 2006. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
