A truly exceptional doctor. I elected to transfer my previous orthopaedic records dealing with my shoulders to Raleigh Orthopaedics, specifically for Dr. Callaway, who I heard so much about. My first visit with him was beyond informative and he covered all the options that I could pursue with regard to my right shoulder. Dr. Callaway is one of the best doctors in general that I have ever seen. Shook my hand whenever he first walked in. He offered me a couple options on how to proceed and thoroughly explained each one. I wish more doctors were like him!

After surgery for two weeks while I was in extreme pain there was no guidance. It was dis-heartening and frustrating. Rest is all well.

Dr callaway: it's one of the best doctors that you can get for your shoulder because he saved my arm 5 years ago and it's been holding up until I guess I turned wrong to get up out of my bed but now he got to fix it again and it might be another 5 to 10 years before I will need him to fix it again I refer him to anyone that have shoulder surgery I mean even a infant that's born with a defigment of the shoulder he can look at it and tell them that it may or may not be fix.

Dr Callaway iOS very professional and though. He went through each photo taken during my surgery and explained exactly what I was looking at in detail pointing out what was wrong and I what he did to correct the issue. He is very personable and has a great bed side manor. This is my 3rd surgery with him and I have had complete recoveries with no complications.

Dr. Callaway is friendly and offers ideas, but always seems like he is trying to leave as soon as possible. He said he was going to go get a test scheduled for me and then a nurse came in and said I was good to go. I didn’t have a chance to ask follow up questions and felt rushed out.

Didn’t listen to or address my concerns. Just felt like standard protocol for shoulder issues without really listening or paying attention to my concerns. I feel like I wasted time and money and now I’m trying to find another doctor.

Dr Callaway, like other Raleigh Orthopedic doctors come in the room with my x-ray or MRI results and proceed to tell me about my condition before examining me or inquiring as to what my complaint is. He had no answer for my pain or where it was coming from despite having MRI results in his hand. I have been referred to the most senior physician instead. This is the third or fourth visit I have made to Dr. Callaway for this same problem. The pain has progressed to the pt of dehabilitation.
