Dr. Vivian Nguyen, MD is a compassionate Obstetrician and Gynecologist dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care for women throughout every stage of life. Passionate about women's health, advocacy, and community engagement, she believes in empowering patients through education, collaboration, and evidence-based medical care.
Born in Vietnam and raised in Arizona's East Valley, Dr. Nguyen considers the Valley her home. She attended Hamilton High School in Chandler before earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Driven by a commitment to serving women and improving access to healthcare, Dr. Nguyen attended the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During medical school, she discovered her passion for Obstetrics and Gynecology through volunteer work and advocacy efforts at community free clinics in Baltimore. She continued her training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she completed her OB/GYN residency and served as both an Administrative Chief Resident and Wellness Chief Resident.
During residency, Dr. Nguyen earned recognition for her surgical excellence, leadership, and dedication to serving the Baltimore community. She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including preventive wellness exams, pregnancy care, family planning, contraception counseling, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, and women's health services across all stages of life.
Dr. Nguyen is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed healthcare decisions. She values building long-term relationships and partnering with women to support their health, wellness, and reproductive goals.
After completing her training, Dr. Nguyen was thrilled to return home to Arizona with her husband, daughter, and two beloved dogs. She is honored to serve women and families throughout the East Valley community she knows and loves.
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys exploring local restaurants and happy hours, baking, trying new fitness classes, spending time with her family, and relaxing with a great television series.
