Dr. Ha Tran is an experienced medical oncologist and treats patients who present with any type of cancer. Dr. Tran joined Piedmont Cancer Institute after completing her fellowship at the nationally recognized Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University.
Dr. Tran was awarded the Howard Hughes Research Fellowship. During her fellowship, she was awarded the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Outstanding Fellow Achievement Award. She received many awards in medical school including the Deans Award, the J. Ellis Sparks award, and the Charles Selah award. In addition, she has received an educational grant and was a speaker at the 12th Annual Fall Oncology Conference.
Dr. Tran enjoys baking, face painting, and drawing, as well as spending time with her son, family, and friends.
