Great doctor

I like Dr. Meiers, but he lacks empathy. When he entered the room, he asked how I was doing. I responded “Doc, I’m struggling. I am still weak and shaky every day from the damage done by the sepsis.” He offered no response. He merely moved on. The sepsis occurred five days after my first lithotripsy and ureteral stent, so it obviously originated via First Urology’s actions. Dr. Meiers could at least ask if there is anyone is helping me with post-sepsis care, or even offer the name of someone who might help, but he chose instead to ignore it because it doesn’t affect him. I haven’t been able to work since March 11, 2026. This has taken six months of my life and my livelihood from me, but that’s no matter to him. Dr. Meiers, you are a symptom of what is broken in our healthcare system.
