Although I had an appointment to see Dr. Meiers, he did not see me, instead they sent in a nurse practitioner. While I respect the training nurse practitioners get, if I have an appointment to see a physician, I expect to see a physician unless I’ve agreed to something different in advance. Having a nurse practitioner come in and tell me that the doctor is not in yet is not a reasonable substitute in my opinion.
