Fully explained my concerns

I'm not sure what more I could ask from a doctor. All questions were answered in clear, consise detail. The options for a remedy was also give clearly. Listened and explained well

I agreed to surgery because Dr. Quitkin told me that if all goes well I’d be back to golf and tennis three months after my hand surgery. This was important to me as I was going to miss part of golf season anyway. Everything has gone extremely well and I have been diligent with PT. Now, however, Dr. Quitkin is saying that I may not even begin strengthening my hand until three months post surgery. He denies that he ever said that if all goes well I’d be back to these sports in three months. It seems to me he is being unreasonably conservative and is lumping all people into one group with hard and fast rules about recovery. Not all people recover at the same pace. I am very fit and active and feel more than ready to begin strengthening my hand. I find this very frustrating. I have been an athlete all my life and believe that I am know my body.

Dr Quitkin is thorough and conservative in treatment options. He listens, and looks for non-surgical solutions before jumping for operating.

He was transparent and informative when discussing rehab time. I appreciate that he offered his opinion as to what I should do at this stage. The only area for improvement I see is that he saw me 45 minutes after my appointment time, and I waited in the exam room for 25 minutes with no update. Not a deal breaker as he seems like ‘Em excellent doctor.

This was my first visit here. The office is very large and quite busy but I hardly had any wait and was seen by the PA quickly. After taking some history, they took x-rays of my hands. I then went to exam room. Dr. Quitkin appeared shortly. He is extremely friendly but extremely knowledgeable. His competence came through as he answered every question about my condition. I appreciated his honestly and we scheduled some minor surgery to correct my condition. All in all, I would highly recommend him.

I went for a second opinion because I was told I had a ganglion cyst and could schedule a surgery any time after spending less than 30 seconds with me despite my protests I thought it wasn’t that. Dr Quintal took one look at my wrist and said “well for starters, it’s not in the right place” He explained what he thought was going on and why. We came up with a diagnostic plan and then we would regroup with a treatment plan. That is a doctor worth trusting.
