Dr Sidhu is very learned in heart health and most through in explaining what is transpiring and how treatment is being administered to improve heart health by treatment recommendations. Excellent Dr.

Dr Sidu has always been very personable along with passing knowledge about my particular issues. He spent time asking pertinent questions and offering several options for treatment until finding what I am comfortable with doing.

Dr. Gursukhman “Gursu” Sidhu, M.D., FACC, FHRS, is a native of Punjab, India. He received his medical education at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India. He finished his Internal Medicine Resident training at Wright Center Graduate Medical Education (GME) in Scranton, PA. He went on to complete his Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. Post Fellowship training, he worked as a Cardiologist in Lafayette, LA. He then specialized in Cardiac Electrophysiology, completing his Fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago, IL.
Dr. Sidhu joined Cardiovascular Medicine in December 2024. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular CT. He is licensed to practice in Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultations and follow-up visits at the Davenport and Clinton locations. He has staff privileges at MercyOne Genesis Medical Centers and UnityPoint Health Trinity.
Dr. Sidhu’s commitment to personalized care is unwavering. He specializes in catheter ablation of arrhythmias such as Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Premature Ventricular Contraction, and Ventricular Tachycardia, and in the implantation of a Left Atrial Appendage Occluder (LAAO) for stroke prevention in AF. He is also proficient in the implantation of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices, including Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD), and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT). Dr. Sidhu has presented at several National and International Conferences and published journal articles in peer-reviewed journals.
