Gretchen Reis, M.D.

Dr. Gretchen Reis, M.D. is an esteemed physician specializing in bioidentical hormone therapy and the Medical Director of Integrity Wellness Medical Center Charlotte. Dr. Reis is passionate about medicine and her patients, working in partnership with each patient as she helps them discover optimal wellness.
It was her devotion to her patients that led her to leave traditional medicine and join the growing field of functional medicine, where she can address health from a whole body, preventive perspective and uncover the root cause of disease rather than simply managing symptoms. She discovered that correcting underlying issues such as hormone imbalance, poor gut health, and inflammation has a powerful effect in restoring energy, moods and vitality.

Dr. Reis and her husband Bill have 5 children, 4 of whom were adopted out of foster care and one of whom has autism and other developmental disabilities. They have firsthand experience with many parenting challenges but are proud of all of their children, because they have grown into adults and are all doing well. Their youngest with special needs has improved greatly over the years and is a blessing to all who know him.
