Dr. Gregory Spana, M.D. completed his Urology Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He also completed a Fellowship in robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He’s published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a book chapter on Renal Masses.
Dr. Spana’s areas of special interest are prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, and kidney stones. He is skilled in minimally invasive procedures and in the use of the da Vinci robotic surgical system for urologic surgery. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the Endourological Society.

Dr Spana is one of the best Drs I have been blessed to know. Dr Spana has such a welcoming, down to earth, sincere personality I always look forward to my visit with him. I trust him! He does not talk too much; and always shows me evidence of his conclusion every time I visit him. I use the word “visit” because, it is truly how I feel going to see him. Dr Spana has the best going for him: friendly and reassuring presence, honesty, knows and knows his stuff.
