Dr. Gregory J. Chapis, M.D., attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. After completing a fellowship in spine and musculoskeletal medicine at Portner Orthopedic Rehabilitation, he eventually returned to his hometown in 1996 and founded Performance Spine and Sports Physicians, P.C., a practice dedicated to the non-surgical management of spine and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Chapis is Board Certified in both Pain Medicine and Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is on the Medial Staff at Pottstown Hospital where he also served as President of the Medical Staff, medical Staff Treasurer and has served on the Pottstown Hospital Board of Trustees. He remains active on the Medical Executive committee, the Hospital's Medical Credential's Committee and Physician Leadership Group. Currently he serves as Medical Director of Phoenixville Hospital Regional Rehab unit. Co- director of the Phoenixville division.
Dr Chapis listened to my problems, provided a thorough exam, and came up for a plan for treatment which I’m hoping will ease my pain!

Dr. Chapis is an extraordinary man. His medical foundation allows him to step into a patient's pain and help them to see a light out of a sometimes dark tunnel.

Dr. Chapis I highly recommend. From the first day I walked into his office he made me feel extremely comfortable. He went over everything in detail regarding my issues I have and the best way to treat them.
