He obtained his medical degree and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, OK. He then went on to complete his training with a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, FL.

Specializing in the reconstruction of complex peri-articular, pelvic and poly-traumatic injuries, Dr. Heigle is a staff surgeon with the Orthopedic Trauma Service. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Heigle enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing golf and watching college football.
