Dr. Gregory Gebauer, M.D., is a fellowship trained, board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with years of experience treating neck and back concerns. He cares for patients at EmergeOrtho in Greensboro and Eden. He offers everything from pain-relief therapies to advanced surgical intervention. Before joining EmergeOrtho, he spent over ten years helping patients in Florida. He also served as a team doctor for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Spinal stenosis occurs when the spinal canal narrows, often because of arthritis. It can cause numbness, weakness, and trouble walking. Standing for long periods can also be difficult.
Sciatica is pain from a pinched sciatic nerve. Symptoms such as tingling and burning sensations can travel down the leg. These symptoms can make daily activities and movement harder.
Radiculopathy can happen when spinal nerves are compressed. It can cause sharp pain, muscle weakness, and loss of reflexes. These symptoms can make daily life seem exhausting.
