Had an excellent experience with Dr Galano. He came in took a history about my injury, examined me efficiently, pulled up my MRI on his phone and explained to me in depth what he assessed on my physical exam and how that correlated to the imaging/injury. My questions were all appropriately answered and I left without needing any further interventions/imaging and was educated on what symptoms to be mindful of that would prompt a return visit. 10/10 experience I would highly recommend him!

So far so good. Dr. Galano performed an MPFL reconstruction on my left knee a little over a month ago to fix patella instability issues. I am very happy with my results so far. I was in minimal pain during recovery - which I am not sure if that is attributed to the surgeon or the patient. Nontheless, one of my incisions is oddly perfectly straight so kudos to him. I have seem some reviews mention his lack of bedside manner, and I am of the opinon that his bedside manner is perfectly adequate. I do not need my surgeon to coddle me, I need them to be efficient and a shark in the OR. He provides competent answers to every single question I have. Now the real testament to his skills is if I never have another patella dislocation again, but time will tell.

It is impossible to schedule an appointment with Dr. Galano. Two of my appointments were cancelled, one I waited over an hour and then finally I was there on time and he wasn’t even there, they didn’t know when he’d be in, and there were 7 patients ahead of me!!!!! Who runs a practice like this?

A rock star surgeon! I’m a Middle Aged martial artist and Dr. Galano did an incredible job on my ACL reconstruction. Because of other health complications my recovery was longer and more painful than the norm, but Dr. Galano was patient and encouraging through out my recovery. 16 months post op and I’m back to training at a high level for my Taekwondo Black Belt. Would recommend him a million times.

I highly recommend Dr. Galano and couldn't be happier with my results. Dr. Galano operated on both my hips to correct significant cam deformities along with a host of other things. Before my surgeries, I was having trouble walking for more than 3 minutes and becoming quickly depressed (I'm a 40-year-old male that is very active). Within a month post-surgery, I was able to walk a few miles a day without any pain (everyone heals differently, go at your own pace). Dr. Galano is very skilled and highly respected by his peers (my primary and other doctors heard great things about his work) and staff (during surgery prep, his team, unprompted, spoke very highly of him from beginning to end). After just a couple of months after surgery, I'm now returning to the sports and activities I love, and I feel like I finally have my life back. Dr. Galano: Thank you for listening to me, thank you for your skilled work, thank you for giving me my life back!
